The Youngsville Heart and Soul program has a new logo.

The Borough of Youngsville solicited submissions — reaching out to borough residents and students in grades six through 12, according to Heart and Soul project coordinator Barbara Young.

Borough Director Wendy Wilcox, Youngsville Revitalization Chairperson and Warren County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, chamber director of operations John Papalia, and Young recognized Kinzlea Chase, a student at Youngsville Middle School as the winner of the logo contest.

“After numerous logo entries were submitted, Miss Chase’s design was chosen as the inspiration for the final logo,” said Young. “She received a $50 gift card, a framed print of her logo, a framed print of the finalized logo, and a certificate of recognition.”

“The Youngsville Community Heart and Soul logo is a way to create a cohesive visual identity in the community”, she says.

Youngsville Heart and Soul is a non-profit organization designed to encourage positive change in the Youngsville community. “Youngsville Heart and Soul’s mission is to empower people to shape the future of the Youngsville community by improving local decision-making, creating a shared sense of belonging, and ultimately strengthening social, cultural and economic dynamism”, said Young. “Youngsville Heart and Soul plans to have a presence at Island Park’s summer music events, beginning June 2, Youngsville Fireman’s Jubilee in July, and Youngsville Corn Festival August 26-27.”
